Meagan & Darrell celebrated their Juneteenth weekend wedding District Winery. The couple acknowledged the significance of the day by selecting a venue with views of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge and by working with us to identify a team of vendors of color. Friends and family contributed to this deeply personal wedding with the groom's brother playing the sax as guests arrived, the bride's cousin singing the bridal procession song and a friend of the family percussionist payed tribute to the DMV locale with go-go beats during cocktail hour.
